Posting from home base as Matthew has not been near a computer in a while...
As of yesterday June 4th, he had traveled 1,000 miles and was entering West Yellowstone!
He will be posting his encounters and experiences when he can, but for those of you wondering
where he is and if he's alive....I thought I'd update you. He is in great spirits as always and says
he looks like a biking creature with sunburn stripes.

Matt stopped in Ashotn idaho and my friend Terrie and her husband let him stay in a nice dry warm bed. Then as he rode on up the rode he stopped at the Anglers Lodge in Last Chance, Island Park, Idaho and unbeknown to me, I served him a breakfast of biscuits and gravy. I'm very bummed out that I didn't talk to him, almost at all, but at the same time 2 of my friends were up eating and talked to him. I wish him the very best of luck, and beautiful weather.
ReplyDeleteThis story will be one that great grandkids will listen to over and over, in wide eyed amazement.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're doing well, Matt!
